Eggettes is a place where people of all ages go to enjoy nice cold boba drinks or crunchy and gooey eggettes (that come in flavors such as: original, chocolate, and coconut). They have a large variety of tea flavors, such as passion fruit green tea, Thai tea, red bean milk tea, and many more. They also have other types of drinks, such as fruit freezes, iced coffee, and much more. The place is warm and friendly, but the service is a little slow. The servers are very kind and helpful, and ready to deliver your food. However, the line is always long and all the seats are usually taken, but this shows how many people enjoy Eggettes. Though Eggettes is a bit pricey, it’s worth your money. Eggettes is located at 3136 Noriega St in San Francisco. By Kayla Yee Why were fidget spinners invented? Fidget spinners were invented to distract children and provide a soothing toy to play with. According to https://www.naturalbeachliving.com/history-of-fidget-spinners/, fidget spinners were deemed a health benefit for children and adults for anxiety and ADHD-like symtoms. Who invented fidget spinners? In the 1980s, Catherine Hettinger developed the idea, which became the original fidget spinner-two decades before this toy became very popular. Additional information It was 1997 and Hasbro didn’t see any excitement or magic in the “spinning toy.” Later, they sent a rejection letter to Hettinger. But now, they are selling it worldwide, about 20 years after. Additional information about the inventor Hettinger, a chemical engineer by training, says that she’s always been a tinkerer. In 1993, she filed for a patent on a circular device molded from a single piece of plastic, that spins on the tip of a finger, or in between two fingers. In her patent application, she described her device’s shape as similar to the US capitol building. She came up with the idea of a “spinning toy” to help children to cope and manage their feelings and emotions.
